Since its inception in 1998, Nexgen Constructions Pty Ltd has built an enviable reputation within the industry for its work on a variety of architecturally constructed new homes and home renovations.
Perched on a steep site, this traditional Californian bungalow had endured 3 previous renovations prior to our works. The client brief was to expand the living areas via soaring ceilings, opening up the rooms to maximise the spectacular water views of Sydney harbour. The new roof was additionally created to maximise street appeal as was the entry parapet. Access was limited and became one of the main challenges due to by-hand excavation of the lower ground floor and the erection of a structural steel roof frame without the aid of a crane.
